1What the service is

LawyerSaathi helps you turn documents you already use into reusable templates, fill them quickly, convert legacy Gujarati typing into Unicode, and produce Word files that keep the formatting your court expects.

It is a drafting tool. It is not a law firm, it does not practise law, and nothing it produces is legal advice. Every document it generates is your work product, prepared under your professional judgement and your responsibility — including checking it before it is filed.

2Who may use it

The service is intended for advocates, notaries, legal document writers and their staff, working in India. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use LawyerSaathi on behalf of a firm, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

3Your account

Sign-in is delegated to Google, so there is no LawyerSaathi password. Keeping your Google account secure is therefore what keeps your workspace secure. Settings → Security shows you every recent sign-in; if you do not recognise one, revoke LawyerSaathi from your Google account and tell us.

One account is for one person. Sharing sign-in access to a single account across a firm means everyone sees everyone’s documents, which is not a configuration this service supports.

4Your content stays yours

You keep every right in the documents you upload and generate. Uploading a document grants us only the narrow, revocable permission needed to run the service on it: to store it, read it, render a preview of it, and produce your output from it. Nothing more.

We claim no licence to publish, share, sell or train on your content, and we do not use it to build sample or shared templates.

5What you must not do

• Upload material you have no right to use, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Use the service to produce anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading.
• Attempt to reach another user’s documents, account or data.
• Probe, scan or attack the service, or work around its limits — including the file size limit and any measure protecting other users.
• Resell or rebrand the service, or run it as a bureau for others under your own name.

6What it costs

LawyerSaathi is free to use at present. There is no payment gateway, no card is asked for, no invoice is issued and nothing is charged. Any prices shown on the marketing pages describe planned tiers, not a current bill.

If paid plans are introduced, the terms and the price will be presented to you before anything is charged, and continuing to use the free features will not become a purchase by silence.

7Availability, and the limits of it

We aim to keep the service running and to keep your files safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and this is not a document archive. Keep your own copies of documents that matter. Download what you generate.

Some features depend on software installed on the server — PDF export is one — and may be unavailable without notice. Where that happens, the Word file remains available.

8Liability

To the extent the law allows, LawyerSaathi is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for loss arising from a document you filed without checking it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

You remain responsible for the accuracy and legal sufficiency of every document you produce. A template fills in text; it does not check whether the text is right for your matter.

9Ending it

You may stop using LawyerSaathi at any time, and may delete your account and everything in it yourself from Privacy & Security. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Anand, Gujarat have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have to bring proceedings where you are entitled to.
