Gujarati font converter
Paste text typed in an old Gujarati font and get proper Unicode back. It converts as you type, on your own device — nothing is uploaded, and there is no limit.
Converted on your own device. Nothing you paste here is uploaded, stored or seen by us.
Fonts this converts
A font can be converted only when its encoding table has been derived from real documents and verified. We list what we have not done as plainly as what we have.

These render correctly in our document viewer, but we will not guess at their encoding — a wrong guess produces fluent, plausible, wrong Gujarati in a filing.

Converting a whole document?
Pasting text loses the document. The signed-in converter takes the file itself — including a Word 97–2003 .doc, which most tools cannot open at all — works out the font from the file, and returns a Word document with its tables, headings, numbering and page setup intact.
Common questions
- Is this Gujarati font converter free?
- Yes. It is free, unlimited, and needs no account. The conversion runs inside your own browser, so it costs us nothing to give away.
- Is my text uploaded anywhere?
- No. The conversion happens on your device. The text you paste is never sent to our servers, so a draft naming a client never leaves your computer.
- Why does my text come out wrong?
- Almost always because the wrong source font is selected. Pasted text carries no font information, so you have to tell the converter which typist font the original was in. Try another font from the list.
- Can it convert a whole Word file instead of pasted text?
- Yes, but that needs an account. The signed-in converter reads a .doc or .docx, detects the font from the file itself, and returns a converted Word document with its tables, headings and numbering intact.
